Registration Dates
Online registration OPENS March 1, 2024.
Online registration CLOSES Thursday, August 15, 2024 at noon.
Race day registration will be available at the start line and will close 45 minutes prior to the official race start :
17 Mile Start Line, Morris Street Boat Landing: Registration open until 9:15 a.m.
8.5 Mile Start Line, Eureka Dam Campsite parking lot: Registration open until 10:00 a.m.
Entry Fees
March 1 through July 24: 8.5 mile - $35 per paddler, 17 mile - $40 per paddler
July 25 through Race Day: 8.5 mile - $45 per paddler, 17 mile - $50 per paddler, (Note: race day registration is by cash or check only).
Passenger fees in the short course and no contest classes remain at $5 per passenger and will not receive a T-shirt.
T-shirts are NOT guaranteed for registrations after July 24th!
Registration is limited to the first 200 boats.

Commemorative T-shirt (if registered before July 24)
Post race Live Entertainment at the Fox River Runners Corn Roast at Scott Park in Omro, WI
Medals will be awarded based on participation in each class. For details, see the awards page.

Safety rules and other event rules
Participants need to be aware that this is an outdoor event, and that we have no control over weather and related conditions, nor can we patrol or be at every point along the river. Paddlers and passengers take on personal risk and personal responsibility by participating in the event.
The organizers do all they can to make the Race The Fox 8.5 & 17 mile race as safe as possible. The threat or occurrence of extreme weather or other emergency may cause the event to be interrupted or cancelled. Any participant who violates the event’s rules and regulations as set forth on this website will be subject to disqualification at the discretion of the race officials.
Waivers
All participants and passengers must be registered and sign an official waiver of liability.
No participant’s entry will be accepted without a signed waiver form.

For registrations received by Thursday, August 15, 2024 at noon, pre-assigned race numbers/packets will be available at the 17 mile or 8.5 mile Registration Table at the respective Start Lines. Registrations not received by August 15 will be assigned boat numbers and start times at the appropriate Registration Table.
